Keystone KeyMass® has been designed as a simple system, with a standard unit for the face of the wall, corner units for 90 degree corners, extender units for use in wall designs and capping units to neatly finish the top of the wall.

System Options

01. Gravity Wall

For low, non-critical walls up to 1.2m

The Keystone KeyMass® retaining wall system is effective as a gravity wall structure, utilising their weight, interlocking pin system, and interaction of the units to resist earth pressures.

02. No Fines Concrete Reinforced

For mass gravity retaining walls

The no-fines concrete backfill system increases the mass of Keystone retaining walls allowing the maximum heights of up to 4.4m. This is ideal for boundary walls where the geogrids would otherwise cross into the neighbouring property.

03. Extender

Use Keystone KeyMass® Extenders to built up to 4.4m

Keystone KeyMass® standard units can be combined with Keystone KeyMass® extenders to create a wall that will resist overturning thanks to the interlocking units on the walls face and the Extender units behind which bear the weight of the fill behind the wall.

04. Geogrid Reinforced

For walls up to 15m using AS 4678 (25m using project specific design)

When placed between layers of compacted soil, geogrids create a reinforced soil mass, which essentially acts as a larger gravity wall structure. Geogrids can be used with most existing site-soils and are not affected by water, micro organisms, alkali or acidic soils.
